Like A Dragon: Yakuza 1 and 2 getting HD rerelease
Or more "like a phoenix", am I right? Yes, friends, the first two games in the Yakuza series are making a comeback...in HD! This is a good thing, because Yakuza 1 was criminally ignored in its first English release because of a godawful localization, which in turn led Yakuza 2, which stuck to subtitles, to be ignored by everyone who hated Yakuza 1's voice acting. But now, Japan at least will be experiencing the magic again in November. Kazuma Kiryu will once more be kicking men in the face in the manner of his ancestors, but enhanced with a slew of upgrades ranging from up-rezzed textures to faster loading times courtesy of a data install function. Please, Sega, bring this to us. We know you need the money. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
