Live-action Anime 2: Anime Harder (A chilling prediction!)

Yes, another anime has stepped up to join the aristocratic crowd of live-action anime adoptions, and its name is Ninja Scroll. The live-action anime club has been around for awhile, but right now we seem to be in an age of a premium club. The first of these members was Speed Racer, but soon enough the club will increase with soon to be members like Akira, Dragon Ball, Robotech, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Ninja Scroll.

These were all the popular movies and series that we all loved back when we were children or teenagers. Now, a little bit older, we know that these are just a small section of the great anime titles released during that time; but the people who make and produce these films don’t necessarily know that. So after these films are done and made, what’s up next?

Find out after the jump!

Well ,I can take a educated guess thanks to this trend: Vampire Hunter D, Cowboy Bebop, Spriggan, Trigun, Kenshin Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell—and many more will be applying for the live-action club someday in the future. It’s obvious; those who grew up with these shows want to then make them; and I don’t blame them!

Basically, Hollywood is slogging up the anime ladder, always staying 15 feet (years) away from the top. Just think of it this way, the kids who are watching Gurren Lagann on TV today will be the ones piercing the live-action barrier with their burning spirits in the future; so if you want to blame anyone, blame the children.
