Our friends at Viz send word that manga-inspired live-action film NANA will hit shelves in DVD form tomorrow, April 8th. We knew that!
We also already knew that this movie and its sequel, NANA 2, made the list of recent manga-turned-movie Viz acquisitions, along with the awesome Honey and Clover and Love*Com. You already knew that NANA movie is based off he ultra-popular manga by Ai Yazawa, and that it tells the story of two girls named Nana. You also probably already knew that this 2006 Japanese release is a great film.
What you may not know is that this release follows a week-long theatrical run that began on Friday, April 4 in New York's IMAGINASIAN THEATRE. What you should know now is that you'll be able to pick up your own copy on DVD for $24.98 tomorrow. It's rated "M" for Mature, and has English subtitles.
I'm sure that NANA 2's release isn't that far off. The originally listed a spring 2008 release.
