A lot of interesting music comes out of Japan, in case you haven't noticed already. But how does it get made? Well, Jean Snow pointed out a new documentary called Live From Tokyo, which takes a look at the local music scene in Tokyo, exploring the experimental music there.

Over on the film's site, there's a full list of the artists who perform in the film, so you can see just whose style is being documented here. There's no word on when the film is going to be released, but by the looks of things, it shouldn't be too long until it's released.

We're certainly looking forward to checking it out. Well, I'm looking forward to forcing Zac to watch it, more accurately.
