When I saw Machine Girl earlier this year, I never thought that any more Tokyo Shock films would ever surprise me again. Or disgust me. But I was WRONG. Just as I was gonna sit down and enjoy my copy of Tokyo Gore Police, another Tokyo Shock film, I get word of a Machine Girl spin-off. If anyone remembers The Machine Girl, which was a Grindhouse-seque, revenge film done with a Japanese twist that I reviewed earlier this year. Dubbed as Hajirai Machine Girl (Hajirai meaning "shyness") , the new trailer promises anything but shyness.
The trailer features another gravure idol Noriko Kijima, as the title character much like the original Machine Girl, taking on the role as another chaingun-wileding schoolgirl but this time, she has back-up! From her ass. When I first saw the trailer, I can't help but think that the production value has taken a step down from the original Machine Girl. It looks like another one of those Japanese softcore porn parody films and I wouldnt be surprised if this movie turns out to be one. Danny Choo also tells us that the movie will hit theaters next January and maybe we might see this come to our shores if any more people like me buy other Tokyo Shock titles.
I... just... ok. What ever I would say it would end up in an "ass" comment - so I'll leave it ass it is with no comment at all... :) or is it too late?
i...cant past this movie up.... i mean a cute asian girl with a mini-gun sticking out of her ass.... it's one of those moments that you have to see it cause you might not get another chance to see another one, lol
All I gather from this is that the creators were aware that the first one was terrible, and they intend to make this one even worse. Before watching this trailer, I didn't think it was possible.
And yes, I watched the first one. I wasn't aware Japanator reviewed it. But you were wrong, Japanator. I would like to say it was so bad it was good, but even that would be too much honour.

I swear I wrote there somewhere in the old review that "it was so bad [AT TIMES] that its good". My writing was really bad then and I still screw up from time to time.
Well, reviews should always be seen as supplemental and I respect your opinion on the flick since this movie isn't for everyone.
