Macross Frontier: Wings of Goodbye comes with goodies

Most of the time I find the price of Japanese Blu-Rays a bit hard to swallow, especially when they tend to release TV episodes one at a time. However, When the companies go out of their way to add a bit more value to the purchase, I gladly will support. The upcoming release Blu-Ray release for Macross Frontier: Wings of Goodbye is actually a Hybrid pack which contains the PS3 shooter Macross: Last Frontier.

I wasn't a huge fan of last year's Macross Frontier: The False Songstress, but it was a fun, good looking romp. I did however enjoy the game, and the free goodies that came in the Hybrid pack a lot. Macross Frontier: Wings of Goodbye will drop in Japan October 20th.

I pre-ordered my copy over at AmiAmi for ¥5,910. Not a horrible price for a game and a movie. Check out the trailer which includes some sexy looking gameplay after the jump.
