Manga publisher for sale! photo

Isn't it annoying when an article gets posted that's all conjecture and the reporter doesn't really know what the bottom line is?  Yeah, this is one of those articles. But that's only because nothing is really known as of writing this.  And because the other sites are all (probably) covering it.

Take a look at this: BizBuySell has a page for the sale of a manga publisher. The name of the publisher is not given, but it does say it was founded in 2006 and it's based in California.

Some places online, like Bleeding Cool, say the company for sale is Aurora Publishing. That keeps being repeated, but whether or not it's a rumor or confirmed . . . well, that's something else. It was recently announced that Netcomics will stop selling Aurora titles as of April 14, which is typically not a good sign.  I guess you'd better get your credit card out and hurry to Netcomics if you want to buy some Aurora titles before then.

Whether the company is Aurora or not, here's the real question . . . which one of you has $300,000 to buy a manga publisher?

If it was a more profitable industry, I'd probably step up and do it...but you'd need more than 300. With Real estate taxes, sales taxes, Employees and their new stupid healthcare requirements, equipment, etc... I'd say probably close to 1.2 million to buy.
I just bought it. Anyone want to work for me? You'll start off with 3 bucks an hour. Just don't tell uncle Sam.
being unemployeed I'd be up for 3 dollars an hour lol..nothing else to do with my life >.
If you provide me with tempura during my lunch hour then I'll take it!
well if we were motivated enough, we could pool our resources and collectively afford to buy this publisher...
umm... if its more than minimum wage.. yes yes.
