You might think that the video you see above is a clip from episode 15 of Lucky Star. You'd be right. What it also is, however, is an almost frame-by-frame recreation of the opening movie from Circus-developed eroge Da Capo.
If you've been wanting more than that little taste, digital distributor MangaGamer is available to fill your needs, offering a demo version of Da Capo, as well as two other top-shelf eroge: Suika, and KiraKira.
Suika is divided into four different storylines featuring different casts, but all centering around the same mysterious rural town. That way, it's kind of like Silent Hill, only an eroge and not insane.
KiraKira, on the other hand, follows the adventures of a school literature club as it turns into an all-girl rock band, only the female bassist is actually the male protagonist. That way, it's kind of like K-On!, except an eroge, and with Mio as a guy.
See? Eroge look really great if you can cook them into ridiculous analogies! You can grab those demos straight off of MangaGamer's official forums, here. I'm actually kind of stoked for KiraKira because I had a lot of fun playing Heart de Roommate, and also because I'm suffering from a terminal case of moe poisoning, brought on by having watched the first episode of K-On!
So, which eroge are you thinking of demoing? Or are you still busy with Shuffle! ? Hit the jump for sample CGs, along with a picture illustrating that whole Lucky Star comparison.
[UPDATE: I've fixed the link. You can download the demos here. My apologies. -Josh]
