Last month I showed you McDonald's Japan's Miami Burger, which is one of their series of Big America 2 sandwiches. It was...pretty good. Strange, but good. Taco meat and chips on top of a cheeseburger is crazy, but it kind of works.
This new Big America 2 burger also kind of works. Their follow-up, the Manhattan Burger, was what I had for lunch today. This one has a really nice specialty bun, a quarter pound of beef, mozzarella cheese, mayo and lettuce. But the kicker is slices of pastrami. And...it works! It's very tasty, actually. Again, I was surprised.
Again, this time, eating at the same Shibuya location as last time, I saw soccer moms and dainty girls wolfing this down. McDonald's has this figured out!

Verdict: Strange and strangely good.
After reading a recent article about getting free refills of curry sauce, I had my doubts. I completely trusted in the news, do not get me wrong, but it seemed too good to be true.
