Metal Gear Rising demo to slice into consoles next week

1:00 PM on 01.16.2013

Like many of you, I'm a bit skeptical about the major change in gameplay style that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be bringing to the table. That being said, some of my favorite Metal Gear Solid 4 moments starred our white haired cyborg. Luckily Konami is probably sensing all of this, so they are going to be releasing a downloadable demo of the Platinum Games developed slice 'em up, for our curious gamer minds.

Raiden is looking quite the badass in the newest trailers, and I can't say I'm against the idea of some break dance sword play. I think I'll have to reserve and purchasing judgement until I actually get my hands on the demo. Zone of Enders fans bear in mind that this is the same demo that was packaged with the Zone of Enders: HD Collection. Let the ripping out of spines begin!

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will hit stores February 19th, with the demo going live on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live, January 22nd.
