There are many people who believe that watching the news is just extremely boring. Some news channels, like CNN, just repeat their news stories over and over because they are delivering news for practically 24 hours. Thanks to Bandai Namco Games, they are bringing you Ms. Misato Katsuragi to deliver the news to you through the Playstation 3.

On June 6th, she will be available for download (only in Japan, obviously), to deliver all sorts of news -- the economy, sports, real-life politics, and even anime news. Of course, while people would wish it was done by the actual voice actress, it will be using a voice synthesis engine software, called Cellius, to have her reading the realtime news for the program "Nerv News 24." To make sure that users don't get bored with the program, they are able to customize the background, like Misato's dining room or the Nerv headquarters, as well as being able to customize her hair and clothing.
