After hearing about Miyavi's six recently announced US tour dates I was kind of excited -- I thought maybe if they did well, we could see more Japanese bands come here to perform. However, Tokyograph has just reported that US fans are in for disappointment, as the October 28th show in New York has obviously been postponed according to a listing on LiveNation and it looks as if the October 25th show in Seattle has also been cancelled. What's up with this, Miyavi?

A day later, Miyavi's official site updated with the info that the entire US tour had been canceled. They report that Miyavi suffered an injury during one of the European dates and "has not shown a favorable recovery". I'm bummed, but more bummed that he's been injured and isn't doing well. If you're a fan, send him your thoughts or a letter or card. I'm sure it might help to brighten his spirits.
