In a severe case of think before you type, Kameri Eri and Tanaka Reina of Morning Musume fame have found themselves caught in a bit of racist trouble with a photo posted on Tanaka's blog. The photo has the girls posing in what looks to be a photo booth. The first photo is pretty normal, but the second photo has the girls making slanted eyes. Tanaka followed the photo by saying they were making themselves look Korean. This clearly didn't go over well with their Korean fans and the internet in general, so the post was promptly deleted.
I've got to say I'm really surprised. I thought pulling back on your eyes was a western derogatory way of impersonating an Asian person, but I've never seen one Asian do it to another. I'm not sure if it's more or less insulting to Koreans that a Japanese pop-tart would do something like this. What do you guys think?

I'm not mad at you Seikimatsu. I'm just...disappointed.You started off so well, what with your nice animation, good soundtrack, bizarre sense of humor, different character designs, sci-fi/occult set up, you had a lot going fo...
Well, it's not showing everywhere. It isn't showing in Nigeria, for example. At least not yet. But it is going to show in France (at the Cannes film festival, no less), as well as Germany, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Belgiu...
Game's over. [@BeckiiCruel] UPDATE: OMFG GUYS I JUST WON THE INTERNET.
I've seen far too many stories popping up in the crime section of Japanese news aggregates lately involving police officers unable to control themselves when given an opportunity to plunder, or in this case, capture footage o...
