Murder in Akibahara after maid turns down girlfriend request

Murder in Akibahara after maid turns down girlfriend request photo

There are a lot of ways to get that special someone to like you. Buying that someone flowers, perhaps a small box of chocolates would be a good way to show that you care. However, should your advances be denied, you do not then go and stab that person and murder their Grandmother. Unfortunately, that's just what happened to Ms. Miho Ejiri.

Ms. Ejiri was a maid who worked at the Yamamoto Mimikakiten in Akibahara. There, she would clean out client's ears, while they would lay their head on her lap. One customer, Kouji Hayashi, grew attached and became a frequent customer of Ms. Ejiri. After she turned him down on his offer to "become her lady," he was subsequently banned from the parlor. He then turned to stalking and that's where it ended with the murder of her Grandmother and her being in an unconscious state. To give an idea of how crazy this guy was, he spent 3-400,000 yen (over $4,000) a month on this one girl.

I don't know what it is about Japan, but they just can't seem to take no for an answer.
