Jeux-France has posted up the latest scan of Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 2 for the PS2, from Shonen Jump magazine. The game is part of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series here in America, although we're still waiting on Narutimate Hero 3 to get released here in the U.S. The game boasts 62 playable characters for the one-on-one fights that are available in the game.

The game features a story mode, as has been the case since Narutimate Hero 2. The 3rd game came with an OVA, and Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel has been the start of the Shippuden arc of the manga. I haven't been following it recently, but as the scan shows (which you can click on below for it's full-res glory), Naruto and Sasuke are actually teaming up for a combo Rasengan/Chidori attack. Weird.

Well, the game is scheduled to come out on December 20th -- the same time as the Haruhi PSP game. Well, I wonder which one will be the winner for the first week of sales...
