Today, I bring you two new trailers to two new anime series/movies you probably never heard of before. First off is First Squad, which is shown above. Now here is a first, First Squad is made by the Russian-Canadian collaboration known as Molot Entertainment. It is being directed by Yoshiharu Ashino who also directed Tweeny Witches’ and Mind Game. World War II anime are always super, and this one is extra great because it takes place on the Soviet side of the conflict. Nazi’s have dug up and resurrected crusaders to fight for their cause, and the only thing to protect the world are a bunch of Soviet teenagers with special powers.
If that isn’t enough hotness, I have the trailer to Tytania after the jump; though sadly it’s just a cam. If you are like me and loved Legend of the Galactic Heroes, then Tytania will be a must watch because it is written by the same person, Yoshiki Tanaka. Tytania is a series of three novels which he wrote between 1988 and 1991; though is still ongoing and unfinished. The story, like most of his, is about a group of people trying to liberate themselves from another more powerful group. This will start its run in October of this year; however, I have no idea when First Squad will air and if it will be a TV series or a movie; but I better see it soon or else I’ll die!

Silly Third Reich!!! When will you ever learn? The Brits have their werewolf brigades & thee invincible vampire. Then the Russians have teens who can kick the crap out of the zombie crusaders which were summoned by Aryan voodoo magic. Is America going have some special unit that bust Nazi ghosts in the next series?
~
First, America did the Boondocks.
Now, Russia is making this.
(and this is not counting the French company MARATHON)
Next, the BBC will make a cool anime of the Hundred years war from the British perspective.
Oh yeah man: anime is taking over the world. You better believe it.
