Is your PS3 at the ready? You might want to get those updates downloaded and your controllers charged, as Neon Alley will be launching on October 2nd. If you didn't read Sal's write-up about it from a few months back, you may be a little curious as to what this is all about. Neon Alley is a new 24-hour anime channel that will be bringing English dubbed anime to your PlayStation 3. Pretty good for dub fans, right?

There are plenty of old favourites like Death Note and Naruto if that's what you fancy, but it will also be debuting English dubs for shows like Blue Exorcist, Tiger & Bunny and ZETMAN. Not a bad start by any means!

Of course, services like this come at a cost. Neon Alley is due to cost $6.99 a month, but they've yet to detail any kind of package deal or how often new content will be added. There also seems to be some martial arts movies coming to the service, so even if dubbed anime isn't of any interest to you, perhaps that is. We'll see how it fares on it's release, but I think it's certainly one to keep an eye on!
