A new .hack OVA, .hack//G.U. TRILOGY has just revealed itself on cyberconnect2’s website. This OVA is destined, by the Gods, to be released on the 25th of January; on both DVD and Blu-ray. This is more like a movie rather than your average episodic OVA. So far what we know is that .hack//G.U. TRILOGY will be 80 minutes long and in CG. The trilogy part of the name tells us that this will be a brief retelling of the .hack//G.U. series of games. For those of you who don’t play the games (me included), I think this will be a nice chance to see what ‘player killing’ in The World is all about.
