New Guilty Gear hits PSN and XBL this OctoberHeaven or hell, let's rock! Guilty Gear is a fighting game series that I've always wanted to get good at but never did. It was released during a period of time when I wasn't really into the genre so I sort of missed my opportunity. With this new entry in the series though, it would appear as though I'll finally have my chance to pick the game up. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus will hit the Japanese PSN and XBL this October. There is of course online play and the game will be patched with the same balances being introduced to the September arcade release, Plus R. While Accent Core Plus is only another update, it's still good to have Guilty Gear on modern consoles. Hopefully this leads to an invigoration of the community and a completely new game down the road. No word on a western release yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
