New screens from The Agitation of Suzumiya Haruhi

New screens from The Agitation of Suzumiya Haruhi photo

I'm sure you're all dying from excitement over Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou -- the impending Haruhi game coming out for the Wii. Well, now that Famitsu has been nice enough to post some details about the game, we can get a few glimmers of an update. Well, mostly a bunch of screenshots, but we get a few items from the story mode.

Much like every episode of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, the story mode of the game is driven by Haruhi forcing the SOS-dan to submit to her whims and practice these dances. Within the story mode, you'll get the chance to collect items from the anime, like Mikuru's bunny ears, and then fit them onto the characters in free play mode.

From the screens, you can see that the game will only give you a set number of misses during the dancing, as opposed to the Taiko no Tatsujin/DDR/Ouendan health meter. A little more harsh, but the moves are going to be fewer, I would think. No word on how many stages there will be, but with 38+ items available to unlock, I would assume we've got a healthy amount here.
