There's rumor of a new season of Spice and Wolf going about. On the sash of the latest light novel, volume 9, it says that the anime is getting extremely high praise (and selling relatively well, I'd figure), and that they're looking at a "new development."

Of course, they really don't provide any details, but with the series selling well, and the light novels continuing on, why wouldn't they go ahead and make a second season? They ask us to wait for more developments, which seeing as we're a captive audience, we have no choice but to do so. While you're fan-gasming over the thought, tell your friends!
