In my last singles round-up, I somehow managed to miss two new singles from Polysics. Which is strange because, well, I sort of have a thing for them.
Anyway, this first one is for a song called Computer Obaachan. It's actually a cover of a children's song from 1981, written by Yellow Magic Orchestra founder Ryuichi Sakamoto. You can get a bit more of the history behind the song here, if you're interested. All you really need to do is watch the video to get the idea. Let's just say that obaachan is computer savvy.
This was released on the Rock for Baby compilation on October 17th.
Check out one more new Polysics single after the jump!
Here's the video for the forthcoming new single "Rocket," out November 21st. It's pretty silly, but in a good way. I don't know what a photo shoot has to do with them getting all bent out of shape, but whatever. The song is very poppy, but still challenging enough to keep the weak of spine away.
