Fall and winter is always a huge time for new music in Japan. Instead of blitzing the front page with posts, I've gathered up a handful of new singles and videos for you today.
The one up above is the new single "Hana no Na" from Bump of Chicken. It's...bold? Certainly provocative. If anyone can supply some lyrics and a translation in the comments I would be forever indebted to you. The song itself isn't anything amazing. Your usual sappy BoC ballad. Nice, but maybe a little too nice. The single was released on October 24th.
Check out the jump for more from Alice Nine, Aqua Timez, Base Ball Bear and Ai Otsuka.
Alice Nine "Tsubasa"
This is the new L'Arc...oh, I mean the new single from Alice Nine, "Tsubasa." Lazing blazers! Pew pew! The whole things sounds out of tune to me. Anyone else? Single release October 24th.
Aqua Timez "Chiisana Tenohira"
Here's a ballad from Aqua Times. I really have nothing to add to that statement. Not a good sign guys. Single release October 31st.
Base Ball Bear "Aishiteru"
This is a nice upbeat song from Base Ball Bear, "Aishiteru." The subtitles are a nice touch. It's a total tease though. Come on guys! Full monty! Then again, I guess it fits the subject matter. Single release October 31st.
Otsuka Ai "Pocket"
Oh look, it's another sad ballad from Ai Otsuka. Man, you'd think tears were yen or something. Oh wait, maybe they sort of are? Anyway, she's waiting for her man once again. Will she get him, or will he/she actually be dead? Watch and find out! Single release November 7th.

"Hana no Na" was particularly lovely.
