New Tales game is ready to get tactical for the AndroidBefore you erupt into a heat of rage, this is not the "mothership" title that is going to be announced soon. Namco Bandai is releasing another Tales game that deviates from the traditional elements of the series. Going by the name of Tales of the World: Tactics Union, the new "non-mothership" game is going to be a strategy RPG that allows you to create a party made up of characters from the various Tales games. You can look forward to using Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia, Norma Beatty from Tales of Legendia, Guy Cecil from Tales of the Abyss, Natalia L.K. Lanvaldear from Tales of the Abyss, Rubia Natwick from Tales of Tempest, Flynn Scifo from Tales of Vesperia, Sophie from Tales of Graces, and Asbel Lhant from Tales of Graces. Keep in mind that this is only the first batch of characters, so we might get more heroes to join up later on. Because this is a smartphone game, you will get to perform your commands through flicking and touching. The game is also going to feature item transactions, since Namco Bandai has the urge to make some extra cash off of players. But then again, Tales of the World: Tactics Union is going to be available for 0 yen. Tales of the World: Tactics Union comes out on July 2nd for the Android service known as KDDI. However, you will have to make an account for KDDI's Smart Pass AU Program if you want to own the game, which will cost you 390 yen (US $5.00) per month. You can plan ahead and take a look at the images below. [via Andriasang, Siliconera] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
