Interesting mix of titles. I wonder what their release method and pricing will be. Hopefully they do their homework on Region 1 release practices so we don't have problems like with Toei or Bandai Visual.

I really really really hope they do well licensing anime. Since they're hemorrhaging money right now it would make me really sad if this rather risky move doesn't pay off.

Well, the show had me until the ending, and I hope I'm not the only one with that sentiment. It seemed like everyone just got brain damage for that ending to have taken place the way it did, it was really frustrating and unsatisfying.

So will this be dubbed? Not sure if NIS is a sub-only company or if they do dubs as well. I hope its dubbed because I would love to see Toradora in english.

Trinity Soul was bland, but I was wondering why Atlus didn't go and license it themselves. For one thing I know they stream anime on Atlus Online, so it's not as if they've no truck with the anime "biz".

Please please please please please please NIS, give us BLU-RAY!!!! Especially Toradora!!! I just can't justify spending premium prices on DVDs anymore. :(

Toradora licensed in USA...wait I still live in the UK, were we get shafted on anime for the most part. Oh well I can import.

At the time it came out, I snubbed Toradora, since it looked like it wasn't really the kind of show to bring anything new or interesting to the table. But after it ranked so high on Jtor's Top 50 of the decade list, I decided to give it a try just last month, and I'm glad I did. It took a little while to hook me, but in the end, I really enjoyed its tempestuous and heartfelt characters.

I'm glad that it's been picked up, definitely - however, there are a lot of unknowns about NIS. In a company known for taking localization liberties aplenty in their games, will they play it more straight with an anime? What kind of release plan will we be getting? Will there be a dub, and if so, what caliber? I wish NIS the best; they've got their work cut out for them. Here's hoping they put out a product that does right by the series' fans, helping this cool series find its way into many a home, like a palmtop tiger.

It's not like they've licensed Toradora! to make you happy, you know.

Toradora is in my top 5 of all time, easily. SOOO excited for this news. When I read the article this morning, my heart fluttered like I was in high school and I girl I had a crush on just walked into that room.

I'm very interested in what the "limited edition collectibles" will be--I'm a total sucker for those kind of things. I'm hoping for a Toradora dub too.

@Peter O-o-of course not. They were just licensing all these other anime, and they figured they'd license Toradora! too. It has absolutely nothing to do with making us happy.

this pleases me about persona -trinity soul-. i have an anime i will buy in stores now. nothing has really peaked my interests in the last couple months.. besides baccano.

As shit as Trinity Soul was, I'll buy it anyway because I'm a consumer whore and got way too much enjoyment out of Persona 3.

I may end up buying ToraDora as well; probably my favorite anime since FLCL, it charmed the hell out of me.

I'd like to point out to all of you: Toradora did not have a JP blu-ray release. Kinda hard to demand what doesn't exist, unless they just do an upscale like FUNi does on most of its DVDs.

As usual, I think a really popular thing is overrated. Toradora was a GREAT show but i don't find it worth buying simply because it has very little re-watch value..once you know how everything plays out it's not much fun to watch. Really odd there was no bluray when most anime in the last few years has gotten bluray...does japan hate toradora?

If it is bluray...I will buy it.

FOCUS ON TRANSLATING GAMES!!!!

I have no problem with NIS's translation team or that these shows would get translated by them. I have a problem with them not porting over some SRPGs from Japan that need to get ported! My 360 is craving more SRPGs and I can only supply them with some mediocre atuls games...

I read maybe 3 chapters of the Toradora! manga and found it pretty meh. Pretty same-old-thing.

Also, I liked Persona. Maybe I'll pick it up if it makes it to a thin-pack complete set.

Loved the anime, like most. Not to anger Brad too much, but I have no intention to buy this series (and any others) unless they release it on blue-ray (still waiting for R1 Fate/Stay night on Blueray, somebody, please?).

Why would I want it in DVD format when I have a 1080p screen? Broadcast 720p looks better on a big screen (110") than a dvd upscale!

I liked Toradora!...but personally I was dissapointed. The only person that ended up with a hook up was the burn-out that sat in the back of the class.

Adding 3 out of 4 to my collection ain't a bad prospect, especially Toradora! YESH!!!
