NIS reveals release date for Natsume's first two seasons photo

You gotta hand it to NIS for releasing fancy collector's box sets for their anime releases, which is a pretty good deal when you consider the value of each of the extras that come with it. If you happen to be a fan of Natsume's Book of Friends, then you will enjoy the delight that NIS has in store for you.

Perhaps it is not much of a surprise, but you are getting a hard cover art book that probably resembles the Book of Friends that the main character carries around. Besides the limited edition goodies, you will get the first 26 episodes that make up seasons one and two of Natsume's Book of Friends, and an interview with the shows director Takahiro Omori (Durarara!!, Blue Exorist, Working!! aka WAGNARIA!!) as one of the DVD extras.

In case you don't happen to be a person that is trying to seek the special book, Natsume is the story of a guy named Natsume who must bear the responsibility of inheriting the Book of Friends from his grandmother that contains the name of every yokai that she has defeated. Because of this outcome, Natsume's life ends up being filled with yokais more often. Though luckily, he can count on the help of a yokai that he released from a Lucky Cat statue to help him with the changes in his new life, which include dealing with yokais that want the book for power or wish to have their names returned to them.

You can now own your very own Book of Friends when Natsume Book of Friends Seasons 1 and 2 Premium Edition comes out on October 9 in North America. If you are curious to see the rest of the extra content, then you can check out the image in the section below.
