The Mixim, Nissan’s newest concept car was just revealed to the world during the week’s Frankfurt Motor Show. This car was heavily influenced by anime and manga, developed by Yoo Eunsun. According to an interview by The Independent,
"I am influenced by Japanese animation, like the film Ghost in the Shell," says Eunsun, her eyes widening as I explain that I have no idea what she is referring to. She thinks I'm joking as she continues to explain that the car is conceptually rooted in computer games, and visually influenced by manga comics, anime (Japanese animation) and Second Life.
A car influenced by Second Life? I’m not sure if that’s a good thing. Despite its Second Life origins, the Mixim will be environmentally friendly in this world, sporting the power of electricity rather than oil.
The article then goes on to say that the Mixim wants to make a statement against machines, embracing the codename, “remix against the machine”. It’s like that Chappelle's Show skit when Dave played the blind leader of the KKK. No matter how you look at it, you are a car Mixim; especially if you are going to take the Ghost in the Shell futuristic route.
"The inspiration for Mixim's design development was '99 per cent evil, 1 per cent cute'. This mini-monster theme was developed from a spectrum of Japanese computer-game animations," says Inoue.
Sister, that’s not evil. That is futuristic, cool, sexy and cyberpunk; but not evil. I believe this car sells itself without having to make a whole bunch of crap up to justify its sweetness. And Nissan if you are reading this, I am a fantastic driver; known by some as a Gundam pilot. I can give it the test drive it deserves!

Is this still driven normally, or are we in the future yet? I want to crawl into this vehicle like a Tron Cycle.
