It's pretty incredible how a series like Nodame Cantabile continues to be popular and loved by many. While people were thrown off by the manga style, I feel as if people changed their opinion because of the amazing live-action drama.

You know a series is really good when the other characters get the spotlight. Being a fan of the series, I also fell in love with the others that were in the orchestra. Tomoko Ninomiya, the mangaka, decided to shine the spotlight on the supporting characters in Nodame Cantabile. Noda-Can BS (Nodame Cantabile Backstage) is the name of the new mini-series, which will be launched in the September issue of the bimonthly Kiss Pluss magazine. They will be four pages long and the first set of characters that will be focused on will be Tomohito Kimura and Moe Suzuki. Any other fans of this series like this idea?
