Go anywhere in Japan, and somehow you will run into the phenomena known as GACKT. Wether its music, movies, videos games, or books --the man is everywhere. So it shouldn't come as any surprise that the former Malice Mizer frontman has launched his own line of sake.
Chateau GACKT is a low alcohol, flavored sake aimed at women. It will come in three flavors, Vampire, Lei-Crecent, and Gen-Sake Dolce. This doesn't seem to be your run of the mill, One Cup Ozeki. Of course they hold a fancy press conference and talk all fancy about the nuances of the less potent booze.
Each bottle sells for a pretty hefty ¥5,250. Ladies, I don't know about you, but I'm not quite into the idea of getting watered down sake at a higher price, due to GACKT's sexy endorsement.
