Anime. Let's go! Rob Napton and team was on hand to present to us their latest and greatest products. "Due to the recession, we don't have any new titles to announce. Contracts negotiations are taking longer. In 2010, we're moving more into Blu-ray releases." That's the big quote of the show. Other than that? Not much going on in the panel.
They're working on a new OVA and moving to three pricing models: 6 volumes, 3 volumes or 2 volumes. Oh, so they do have an announcement. The Eureka Seven film, Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers is set to be released on 1/26/10, with Blu-ray discs going for $39.98 and DVD priced at $29.98.
Other than that, we've been sitting through the panel while suffering through an overly-enthusiastic fan commenting on everything. It's all good, though. They showed the trailer for Gurren Lagann, which honestly never gets old.
Well, I'll just leave you be with this information, and get back to taking cosplay photos. We'll see if we can squeeze any more words out of Bandai Entertainment later on.
