NYAF 09: Viz to simulcast InuYasha starting October 3rdI missed out on the Viz panel, so I'm just going to rely on ANN, AnimeVice and PR from Viz to help me get through this post. Viz's headlining piece of news is that they're going to be simulcasting the release of the new season of InuYasha starting on October 3rd over at ShonenSunday.com. Seeing as it's been a relatively big success with FUNimation streaming One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist, so they could attract a big audience with InuYasha. As for their new licenses: -Gente by Natsume Ono They've also licensed Slum Online by Hiroshi Sakarazuka and The Next Continent by Issui Ogawa for their Haikasoru line of books. I'm glad to see Issui Ogawa getting licensed again, especially after reading The Lord of the Sands of Time. I'm especially looking forward to reading Toshokan Sensou, and hope that this means the anime will follow shortly. I've been waiting to watch that for a while now. Did you know?
