Otakon 09: Smash Bros and Gurren Lagann cosplay groups were smashing!

Cosplay was out in full force this weekend, and we made sure to grab some of the action. Here's a little gallery of one of the more interesting gatherings: two photo groups were gathered; one filled with the whole cast of characters from the Smash Bros. series, and the other had the main cast of characters from Gurren Lagann.

These two groups fought hard for the camera's attention, with alternating cheers of "Smash! Smash! Smash!" and "Row! Row! Fight the Powah!" The two groups almost came to blows, but instead the brawlers took their rage out on Pikachu. That little electric rat deserves it, anyways.
