Otakon 09: We're done with day one like it's Naruto photo

So, we're here at Otakon. And so far, it's absolutely fantastic. In reality, Yesterday was a really slow day for all of us. Sure, we've heard about Kannagi from Bandai and FUNimation bringing us the new Detective Conan films. But walking around the con? The atmosphere is just bad. Like, somehow worse than Anime Expo bad.

I think it's the weather -- the threat of rain and hooker-choking humidity put a damper on everyone's day as soon as it started. People weren't interested in coming to cosplay with the chance of getting drenched, so they're waiting until Saturday. And the panels? Eh. We've also run into plenty of miscommunication when it comes to running events, like the Kikuko Inoue signatures (Oh, yeah. We're done with that. We're not having the second autograph session like we said we were.)

Like I mentioned before in the cosplay post, there was a lot of Team Fortress 2 cosplay, some of the Phoenix Wright and Tales cosplay gathered, and...then all the standards. Naruto, Bleach, Final Fantasy. There was really not much to get excited about, and I can just hope that Saturday will prove to be more exciting.

I must say that we did have a bunch of fun at the MELL concert, for as long as we were there. I had a bunch of fun trying to take photos for it, which you'll hear a bit of a writeup from Colette later on that. So, it wasn't all bad. And the dealer's room? Well, I'll talk about that more later. It's...interesting.

For Saturday, we've got a few things to go to, like the Kanon Wakashima concert and the Evangelion 1.0 film. Other than that, we're going to be chill and take cosplay photos. I'm working on becoming Ace0fClub5, but that's going to be a long time off.

I want that t-shirt. Do yo uguys want to buy it for me? :)
I was at the MELL concert. Some fat guy near me was trying to conduct the band with a pair of glow sticks during the slow songs. It was just disgusting to look at.
@The-Excel: when I saw NOIZ in concert, the fangirls were doing something similar. They were hitting people with whatever they were holding to. The sad part was they had never even heard of the band before.
