Summer was looking very good for the upgraded 3DS port of Devil Survivor 2. In an unfortunate disaster, I received a clip from Nicaea that reveals to us that Devil Survivor 2: Break Record is going to be released in Japan during the Fall instead of July 11th. Before you get upset, there's no need to get mad, since no one was killed during the process of this delay.
As for the reasoning behind the Fall release, the folks at Atlus just wanted to take the time to improve the game's quality. Personally, I can't get mad at them, since it means that we will be getting a better experience with the new 3D effects and revamped visuals.
Most importantly, the game is still coming out this year for Japanese players; thus continuing the wonderful trend set by the occasion known as the year of Shin Megami Tensei!
