The rumor of the mysterious second season of Gonzo’s Strike Witches anime will finally be confirmed. But it isn’t confirmed now, but will be announced on Thursday in the first issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Nyantype magazine. We heard rumors about this second season a month or two ago because of titilizing scans from The Sneaker magazine that was leaked a lot earlier than it should have been. Well, the magazine was not a lie, and we will finally be able to see, once again, the axis of evil fighting aliens.

Rakugakidou states that the anime is tentatively named “Strike Witches 2-ki”, and will be staffed mostly by those who worked on the first season. So what do you think? Are there going to be new countries with new girls joining the fight, or will there be new girls from the countries that are already present? Will Hitler and Mussolini’s hip tsundere daughters make an appearance this time? More panties? Who knows?
