Persona 4: The Arena character colors are awesome

Arc System Works' upcoming 2D fighter, Persona 4: The Arena, comes out in Japanese arcades on March 1. We'll be bringing you exclusive coverage and gameplay videos when the time comes, but for now all we can do is wait.

Well, apparently not all of us.

Stunedge, a poster on Dustloop, has found a whole mess of alternate colors for the characters in The Arena. The coolest part? Not only do these colors serve as references to BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, they also reference other Persona characters as well! As far as I can tell, the only one that's up is P4 protagonist Yu looking like P3's hero. Super rad. Can you guess which colors are which?

Furthermore, if you select a Persona 3 character, you can choose to have them wear glasses like their P4 counterparts. Teddy gets a badass bandit mask, because he's obviously the best character in the game. Duh.

I'm personally fond of Chie's Makoto colors. What character and color will you be using when Persona 4: The Arena debuts in America this summer?
