Plants growing out of manga? WTF? photo

I...I have a lot of manga. I stared an additional shelf this weekend to hold the "undecided" manga collections, or the ones I may not finish. Or hated. Or got for free. Or borrowed and never gave back. What a waste of money and space!

I can't wait until this digital manga thing takes off. I'm running out of space and money.

What am I going to do with all of these one and two-volume discards? What about all of these volumes and back issues? Maybe I can grow vegetables out of them!

No, really. Check out what Pink Tentacle found. Tokyo artist Koshi Kawachi is doing it. He's really using old manga for "Manga Farming." Show above are radish sprouts from a store display at depato Matsuzakaya.

It's kind of neat to think that my should-have-been-discarded ero-hon may someday save the world.

MOAR manga:

Legacy Comments

I might try this, how hard could it be?
Can I grow weed out of my manga?
@ DCS7 that would be the best use of Manga yet! Although it might have a harsh ink taste.
