At the beginning, my favorite spring show was probably Gurren Lagann at the beginning and Gurren Lagann at the end, though there was a little slowdown around eps like, 9 through 12 or so. And I liked Lucky Star right from the get-go! :D

Romeo x Juliet is definitely getting good again towards the end. Heroic Age was okay. Not great, but I'm still watching it. (One ep left!) LOVELY COMPLEX IS AWESOME. John, you've been missing out. It's one of the best romantic comedies I've seen on TV in aaages.

Re: Lucky Star / Haruhi-- Yuki's seiyuu is Minori Chihara, who plays the green-haired girl who's friends with Konata's cousin. Kyon cameo'd as one of the dudes in the cosplay cafe.

Slim: Its moreso the fact that we get upset at the non-linkage.
Alot of times (usually not joystick) we'll end up seeing near verbatim reposts of our work on other sites within a day or so of us posting it. Mostly its just a pissing contest, but I've seen people restate things like Len's Weekend Japanertainment or Kia's Artist Spotlight...

They just leave out the title. We a) weren't expecting it from Joystick (since they should be better than that, and they usually don't touch anything that relates to anime) b) apparently have lingering threads of dtoid's resentment of them.

I'm totally live-blogging my reactions to this show...

Yeah, I've been busy, but I also haven't been watching anything. Like, literally. For about two or three weeks. It's pretty sad.

I AM still sort of watching Lov Com, Seirei and Darker Than Black. Also SZS.

Oh, yeah, Denno Coil too, but I'm waiting to binge on the rest all at once.

Yay 9mm Parabellum Bullet! That singer hits some pretty sour notes though...

You can probably DL all the Xenosaga cut scenes and just watch those. I did it with the first game and it was actually really cool. It was like 12 hours of material.

My opinions:
+ I agree with DMV: Lucky Star sucked at first, but the change of director by ep 5 totally turned it around. Not the "greatest show ever" and I hated most of the Lucky Channels (annoying!!!).
+ I don't get the hype of Gurren Lagann. I thought it was OK to start out, but by the time Nia turned into Über-Nia, I was so bored with the show that that turn of events just pushed it over the abyss for me. I could no longer give a damn what happened to anyone.
+ Hayate is good filler-fun but not at the top of my list. Romeo x Juliet…still downloading it, but haven't watched an ep since around 8, so not at the top of my list.
+ Lovely Complex was pretty close to the top of my list at first, but has slipped significantly. I'm currently 3 eps behind.
(just to I don't keep to ad infinitem:)
+ My two favorites of the spring season are definitely Darker than Black and Reideen. Reideen had a decently satisfying ending, so we'll see how DthanB does.
