I know, I know, but Black Friday sure is real enough. Black Friday takes place on the day after Thanksgiving, and is the single largest shopping day in North America. While the idea of waiting in line with irate soccer moms scares me, the sales are often amazing. Plus, no other event truly announces the holiday season like seeing people tear each other apart to get this year's "big item."

In line with this, we'll have our own Very Japanator Thanksgiving, and discuss all the seedy delicious things we want to buy this year. What's on your plate this year Jtorians? Anyone planning on waiting in the wii hours of the morning to get them?

I'd gladly trade three Mario Galaxys and a Mass Effect for some home cooked turkey and mashed potatos. Luckily Portland OR's mass transit system makes Black Friday an amazing holiday experience in itself, I'm counting down the days!

All I want for Christmas is an A in my Algorithms class! Let me graduate already you bastards!
 


As if being middle managment wasn't bad enough at retail, you have black friday... the final kick in the nuts that a consumer can demand from you.

Oh you crazy Americans and your wacky Thanks giving holidays, which by the way....isn't it a cheap knock-off of Christmas? (minus the fat guy and his merry band of elves). I just hope it stays an American holiday, cause us brits don't really have alot to be thankful for....weather? 2nd most obese nation in the world tag? our awesome teeth?.....actually my teeth is pretty awesome, all three of them.


 


Im not gonna go shopping on black friday, screw that.

I do want me some super mario galaxy though...

I can't wait for Black Friday. I'm gonna be forcing my way through crowds to buy a new mp3 player, some RAM and possibly a new graphics card

 


All you people talking about buying stuff... makes me jealous...

I'm in college with 18 credit hours so I don't have a job right now and I can't afford to go out and buy stuff...
 


k i'm personally not going out shopping out on black Friday but I'm sending a couple people that are with shopping lists and money.

Heero: Yeah, I'm a college freshman (with technically 0 credits right now since the first semester isn't over yet), so I can empathize with having no money pretty much all of the time xD.
My parents promised to give me some money for Black Friday awhile ago. I'm not gonna be able to get a job until next semester at the earliest either.
 


i'm taking a year or two off before i head off to colledge so i have money...for now.

@Seebs(&Thanksgiving haters): Thanksgiving is a great holiday it one of the few times of the year people get together and eat good food. I light of that fact I wonder what will I make. I probably help cook the who thing. It not really about the food but the people.

What on earth does Thanksgiving have to do with Christmas?

I'm so confused.
 


Who buy stuff on black Friday, most of us "normal people" buy stuff at the last second. But I don't like talking about x-mas before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is about two things, family, food.

Why is it you people (not including Gia) are not on our fair IRC Room. Who needs silly forums and more work to do when that place is still up and running well. They also have that dynamic feeling to them that you don't get with forums.
 


Ok, Hypothetical question. What events would you possibly think could lead to a japanese thanksgiving? Japan and their Giant robots Invading, on a pilgrimage of course, southern Korea? What would they share? Not turkey I don't think, Maybe dog? thanksgiving dog? Mmm.. with rice and plums?
