So, provided I'm not on the show (because you're a horrible person), what is a "stereotypical anime," in your minds? From the OP/ED to the plot to the art style -- cover all the bases.

Have you ever had anyone that you knew, that you thought thought were totally not otaku, only to find out they were very much to the contrary?

Well, I'm new, and I don't know if this has been asked yet, but what is your least favorite anime. The one that you would gladly leave on a desert isle to die.

What is you guys' favorite romantic type anime (does not even have to be a comedy). Mine would be "Byousoku 5cm". I've only seen the first episode and I don't even know if the other ones are out yet (dubbed), but it was a pretty sad story and I don't even usually fall for that kind of sappy stuff.

Do you recommend any older anime, like older 1995, I probably haven't watched anything other than movies older than that date..

I tend to like a lot of newer stuff like Haruhi, Gurren Lagann, Eva, Kanon, Paranoia Agent, etc...

So I started to listen to the earlier podtoid-san’s (probably cause of Aith… athies… atheist… that British girl making kinky sounds, and we all love remixes of things that are already awesome) and I wondered how I can get my hands on the first 8 podtoid-sans’s. To be honest, I visited the site regularly before the first podtoid-san, but I was so young and stupid and naïve and didn’t know what a podcast was until podtoid-san 12.
And a second thing: Dragon ball Z, what do you honestly think about that show?
And a third thing: You always address the main character in One Peace as “Luffy” simply cause that is the way it is translated in your country, bur in my country (Norway) they translated it into “Ruffy” which I find better, probably cause that was how I first read it. But what do you, deep down, feel is the right translation?
And a forth and last thing: Haw come I love Ghost in the Shell, but simply cant sit down and watch it, I’ve tried many times, but it dose not work. And after some months have passed by I have to start all over again, to understand the story line. Please help me.

Have any of you seen Gantz? If so, what did you think of it? I really loved it the first time i watched it but I recently watched some of it again and thought it was kinda bad.
Maybe if athiestium is on ( I remember she said she loved violent anime in the past) she could add her opinion. Thanks.
