Vertical let No Longer Human out of the bag earlyI reported on Vertical's awesome panel at NYAF last week, at which they announced a ton of good new licenses, such as Osamu Tezuka's The Book of Human Insects (pictured on right). Another important license, No Longer Human by Usumaru Furuya (left), it appears, wasn't supposed to be revealed quite yet, as Vertical issued a statement saying that the announcement was premature and they haven't secured all the rights quite yet. Vertical is of course in negotiations for the right currently (it seems there was some error in communication between the New York and Toyko offices), and hopefully everything will turn out fine, but clarifying the situation is always nice. The full statement from Vertical is after the break, if you wish to read it.
