The moment is finally here, folks, Power Rangers Super Samurai is finally ready to show the last part of its final season on October 13th. To be perfectly honest, it's about time that they started, since the series has already ended in Latino America. While it would normally be the other way around, something tells me that they probably wanted to extend the merchandising for the series in the US.
Besides the episode that are setting up towards the final battle against Xandred, they are also going to use footage from the Shinkenger Returns special in one of their episodes. Despite being bored with the original special, I am still curious to see if Saban will do something different with the footage from Shinkenger Returns.
Now that this chapter is finally coming to a close, I will admit that Samurai was held back by most of the acting in the series, along with its poor attempt in trying to make it similar to Shinkenger, while losing the aspects that made Shinkenger great in the first place. Despite the show's flaws, I still found it to be more decent than terrible, since I did enjoy most of the original segments.
With 2013 morphing into the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, I have a good feeling that Megaforce will bring us a more enjoyable story that will deliver a different experience from its distant older cousin.
