Now here's something that you don't see every day: During TGS '15's SCEJA Conference Asia Session, the folks at Bandai Namco have announced that they're bringing Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Force, the upcoming title in the Gundam VS series, to Asia in English.
Of course, this means that it'll share a similar fate with Bandai Namco's Asian release of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, which featured a poor English localization. Then again, this is a licensed fighting game that we're talking about, so the inevitable Google translate-quality translation won't ruin the title too much. At least it'll be accessible to more players, which is one of the few positive things about this news.
Gundam Extreme VS Force hits Japan and Asia this winter for the Vita. Based on the game's first trailer, it's nice to see that the G-Self from Reconguista in G and Gundam Barbatos from Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans are playable. Other than that, we can look forward to using our Newtype/Seed/Innovator abilities in the title's two-on-two versus fights, along with its new missions and modes.
To those of you who're into Gundam, are you all looking forward to playing Extreme VS Force in English?
