Precure movie marathon is definitely NOT for kids photo

I guess Japan has finally ditched the pretense that shows like Precure are for little girls and that the target audience is not actually 30-year-old men. At the upcoming Precure All-Stars DX 2 event, according to Canned Dogs, they're going to be doing an all-night screening of a bunch of the movies.

The thing is? 18+ only. Even if the kids have a guardian to go with them, they still can't go.

I can only guess what the crowd is going to look like at this sort of event, and I'm sure it's understandable not allowing kids to go to these events. There'll probably be an impromptu doujinshi swap or such like that.

Either way, if you're in Japan on April 3rd, then you may as well shuffle over and give it a shot. You can make some friends for life, talking about your mutual interest in the deep plot of the show. That is why you guys watch this stuff, right?

This is messed up, seriously.
Way to go Japan, you got a loli ban bill coming up, and you show a 18+ Precure marathon. I have not seen Precure, but this makes it look like it's an adult film (what I'm sure it's not).
Loli ban? Is that like a Towelie ban? This must be stopped!
Japanator giving away free tickets?
Well, remember that it's a giant marathon of ALL 8 movies AT ONCE. Don't kids in Japan have curfews or something, thus not allowing them to be able to attend it?
That seems pretty cool, but I only care about HeartCatch because it has the best art style.
I bet they will play the background music called fapfapfapfap during the movies...
They probably want to make sure there aren't any nasty otaku child interactions.
LOOKS DELICIOUS!!!
This is... Well, I can't find a good word to combine disturbing, expected and kinda sad.

Hmm.
This is important to protect the kids from the pedobears that will come to see this.
Tease Headline is a tease.

Give me the Nagisa X Honoka yuri I so greatly deserve
This is likely related to the fact that minors are not allowed to watch movies that run past 8 pm in Tokyo, and also in my home prefecture of Gunma, for "protection of youth from harmful things" rules, e.g. a curfew. Although it's weird, I actually support it, as a parent. Kids aren't allowed into video game centers after a certain time, either.
Hold on, something must be flying over my head. This looks harmless, but it's a loli porn screening? What's goin' on here? Is this porn? Or just some random cutesy movie? Someone explain in clear english.
What peterinjapan said is the most logical reason.
@gymnopedie: it's a loli tentacle rape

Moe?
What?! Those movies are terrible, and not the least bit scintillating compared to the girth of male-centric magical girl franchises, like freaking Nanoha or Papillon Rose or a dozen others. You have your sparkly, underage wank fodder, leave Pretty Cure alone!
I thought (after thinking and reading the story multiple times) it had something to do with a curfew, just a peterinjapan points out. A curfew would have to be the reason for snubbing all Precure fans under the age of 18. However, it's pretty bad if they're going to this extreme. Just make sure that they can go home well before 8 pm (or before the movie that would go over the 8pm curfew).

Also, yes, it's known that girls (and their older male counterparts, lol) like Precure. But, I doubt that they'd keep sub-18 year olds out for fears of such encounters.
