I know a sort of upset right now is GTA4's anime parody "Princess Robot Bubblegum". I've been looking forward to this episode coming out for quite a while, so anime parody or not I was going to get it.

At first I had just decided not to watch T.V. when I got into it (I never really watched T.v. in GTA4 to begin with.. why start now right?). I had figured all the PRB stuff was, was just an ad, one I had already seen on Japanator, Destructoid, and Sankanku Complex. It was kind of funny, kind of insulting, and I shrugged it off.

Then the game started pushing it...

I saw a bill board for it near a Burger Shot I crashed into, I saw a poster for it in one of the cut-scenes (No spoilers here). I thought.. Ok when I get around to it maybe it's more then just that ad... it was.

It was so much more then that ad in-fact, I was quite surprised at how much time Rock* must have dedicated to this weird ass little project. It was a full, probably about 6-10 minute show, with.. lets say maybe slightly better then Speed Racer esq animation... only prettier.

No here's the thing, being both a furry and a fan of anime, I'm quite used to people thinking my hobbies are over sexualized and having LOTS of misconceptions about them. So it was quite easy to take this with a grain of salt and say "you know what, some of this IS kind of true.. and some it's just so far off that it couldn't be more funny".

So here's my 2cents. If you feel insulted by PRB then do this: Sit back, take a sip of water, think about how the world WILL NEVER EVER change the way they view your hobbies and the people who choose that their not going to understand them are scared little shits who hate everyone different then them. And chillout. Then laugh. The first person you should ever learn to laugh at if your going to make jokes is your self.
