  Honestly, most of the time I love this site and sometimes I'm annoyed.
  
  I like the oddball news and all of the anime related news and some debates(including anime related movies and games). The music info is kind of interesting. Any big name Japanese artist or anime related artist is good news though.
  
  I'm not into the reviews. I'm extremely picky when it comes to reviews. It's not just your site it's about 99% of the reviewers out there.
  
  I'm mostly annoyed by the repetitive posts about specific popular series. It seems like there's been more and more fan service pics for men on the site. The thing I like most about this site is usually gender neutral. It's lacking most of the fan service and guy aimed news that some other sites post.
  
  I used to be annoyed when I would see a post show up here that was posted on another or a few other popular blog sites days or weeks ago. I rarely see that happen anymore. The news is usually posted within the same day of the other news source(which doesn't bother me). I'm glad you guys picked up on that. Sometimes I feel like the sites views on certain things differs from my own. Then again everyone else agrees, so either you have a lot of drones or I'm just weirdo. I'm leaning towards the part that I'm a weirdo.

  I thought this was going to be something I could deal with, but it was a lot worst than I expected. Since it's just a bonus song, then it's not a big deal. Disney is trying to appeal to a bigger audience. They have TV ads on their cable channels and there's an ad or two that is frequently circulating Facebook. A part of me hates what they have to do to grab that broader appeal, but unfortunately that's the reality. Disney is only doing it because people out there want it. Don't hate on Disney, hate on the people that have poor musical tastes.
  
  This song doesn't change the fact that I'm going to see the movie. I've seen the last 3 Miyazaki films in theaters and don't plan to stop now. Usually the choices in Voice Actors for the Ghibli dubs are pretty good. Then again they usually hire big names actors and actresses. I don't know about Noah and Frankie, but I'm still going to give them a chance.

  Although Honey is cool...I just haven't seen much of his real personality.

  I enjoyed Anime Expo this year, but I wasn't at Otakon so I can't really compared. I think Bandai has been having issues with AX for some reason. Not sure what happened, but it just seems they've been trying to avoid AX or something. Maybe it's just the economy.

  Unfortunately there's not any in LA. =/ Only option is ebay. The prices are usually more expensive and there's not many choices.

  To me it sounds like someone was provoked to step up right before con. I don't know the guy, but from the speculation it sounds like it probably happened. It might have been consensual, but that doesn't mean it's lawful.
  
  Personally it doesn't make me think any less of the con. The CEO's actions doesn't dictate the rest of the convention.

  I still stand by what I said. There's a line between 'art' and what is meant for pleasure. You can't say that all of the porn out there is just 'art'. There are many children out there that get molested. They don't ask for it, they don't want it. Many of the art that is out there on the subject is usually the pain that is put through children that have gone through this. The art isn't meant to stimulate someone.
  
  There is a difference between ages. A 13 year old may know what he/she is doing and is willing, while a 5 year old is much more naive and doesn't even know what sex is. While younger children may be explorative with sex, it doesn't mean that they want sex. Anyone, of any age, can be molested, but someone getting joy out of a little child raises a bigger concern to me. If someone is attracted to a young child, that isn't capable of bearing children and isn't developed there's an issue.
  
  Someone who owns multiple manga, that contains situations between 5 years olds and 30 year olds that are intended for personal stimulation, creates a big concern to me. Someone who would own many(owning many shows a true interest) of these would need an evaluation. I'm not saying that someone who watches or owns this type of porn will go out and act it out. The person should be evaluated and put on watch. I think it would be ridiculous to throw someone in jail over it, unless an evaluation proved that they have the mental capacity to truly act it out.

  AnimeFriend - There is a big difference of what the drawings could be of. There's manga out there that feature elementary school aged children getting molested by older men. I don't believe this is the case with Chris. The whole case sounds like a big misunderstanding.
  
  It's common to see sex in manga between consenting teens or a teen with an older person. A lot of these are available in bookstores across the country. Where is the line drawn? Does "Containing children" mean someone in high school? Does it mean someone that appears to be younger than high school?
  
  They haven't given him a sentence yet, so for all we know he won't get any jail time and will only be fined $1,000. If he possessed images containing 'minors'(which could be girls under 18) he is guilty of that charge. I'm not saying that he should be convicted of anything for it. Unless any of the material he had contained elementary students I think the whole case is ridiculous.

  I don't mind fat people in cosplay or guys in drag. If you don't wear clothes that fit your body type you're asking to get bad looks.

  The girl who played the yellow ranger is dead now, so she couldn't join the reunion. That's not an excuse to not get the others. They should at least get the guys who did Bulk and Skull.

  If you're not asian, you stand out. I'm 5'6" and that was still tall when I went there. It's not as much as being taller than other people, but you get more people your height and lower. You don't see as many people taller than you, like you do in the US. Just because you stand out, it doesn't mean much. Unless you go to a rural area, no one is going to point at you and be surprised. There aren't many places that don't allow foreigners. Yes, they do exist, but I didn't see any when I went. I didn't see any hispanic people when I went to Japan. I stayed mostly around Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. I didn't get any stares.
  
  Another note is that unless you are completely fluent in Japanese or the person doesn't understand your English, don't bother speaking in Japanese. Most Japanese people automatically assume you're speaking English, so they take your Japanese, assume it's English, and then try to translate that into Japanese. It ends up making it harder than if you just spoke to them in English. Most Japanese people only know basic English, so it is best to study the basics in Japanese.

  Tamaki is usually very calm and repressed as a butler. He's also loaded with money. So I have to pick him.

  lol, I was wondering if you guys realized it wasn't real....The song and some of the graphics are from Mahou Sentai Magiranger....It's actually an awesomely bad Japanese Power Rangers series.
