  Here in Indonesia I think it really depends on what city-folks you are trying to pull a prank on. Medan (North-Sumatra's capital) peoples are the easiest to get boiling angry and they're very explicit about it. Also, Indonesians are really-really good in hiding their true emotion and intention. So be careful if you're trying to make friend with one.
