The PlayStation Vita may not be out in North America for at least another week, but Sony's not about to keep you from spending money on its games! The Vita's PlayStation store is now open and ready for your custom.
Several full first-party Sony games are available for download, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, which Dale rather enjoyed, and Wipeout 2048, the futuristic racing game which will at some point be capable of playing alongside PS3 owners of Wipeout HD.
Demos and videos are also available, as are some PSP games. The PSOne classics aren't up yet, though. If you're buying a Vita to play PSP games on though, you'd do well not to go buying willy-nilly just yet (or junking your PSP), as there seem to be some concerns as to which games are fully compatible with the new console.
We've contacted Sony for some word on which games, if any, are not going to play nice with the Vita.
So, Vita owners and would-be owners, is there anything you've got your eye on?
