Purr in excitement at the Nekomonogatari (Black) trailer
Rejoice -monogatari series fans, for your catgirl goddess has arrived! Or rather, will be arriving soon, as Nekomonogatari (Black) has just received a trailer in advance of its December 31st airing. In case you've been hiding under a -monogatari-proof rock for the last few months, Nekomonogatari (Black) is a planned anime series adapting the first of the Nekomonogatari novels (the second is predictably named Nekomonogatari (White)). Both serve as prequels to Bakemonogatari and cover the supernatural personal issues of one Tsubasa Hanekawa. (Black)'s set to last a mere four episodes, and will be airing back-to-back in Japan over a two-hour broadcast on December 31st. DVD and Blu-ray releases will inevitably follow. So excite!
