Ranma 1/2 is going to be a live action drama
Wow, talk about blast from the past! Rumiko Takahashi's classic sensation Ranma 1/2 is going to be made into a two hour drama, to be aired on NHK in December. I'm pretty excited to see some sex changing, animal changing, hot water tossing, kung-fu battles! I'm a bit worried about the category "drama", as there may be some liberal editing to get this to fit the genre a bit. However, I get a feeling with Ranma being such a nostalgic hit, the producers may be wary to upset that old school crowd. What do you guys think? Do you think they might be able to pull this off?
